About Us
We are open 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday for 51 weeks a year closed on Bank Holidays and between Christmas and New Year.
We are registered for 80 children. Our nursery has two floors the ground floor is split into two rooms. Pixie Room looks after our six months to two year old babies. Imp Room looks after our toddlers two to three years olds. On the 1st floor is the Elf Room which is our Pre-School where they have free flow to the garden. In our rooms we have a range of resources that allow the children to have fun while learning.
We use an online learning journal for each child called Tapestry, where we upload pictures, videos and observations. Twice a year a report will be written and a parents evening can then be booked.
The safety and security of your child is important to us. We have installed outside CCTV and our doors are locked at all times, this is to make sure every child in our care is safe.
We have a password word system to ensure the safety of our children at pick up times. Our records are kept up to date; making sure we have two emergency contact numbers so we are able to contact parents or carers.
Each day we carry out daily risk assessments to make sure our building and equipment are safe for children and adults. We also have a very detailed risk assessment and policies and procedures that all staff follow.
We follow our safer recruitment policy when employing staff and make sure they have a new DBS check. We are all first aid trained every three years or sooner. All visitors are asked to sign in and out.
